Position Overview:We have immediate opening for a Junior Designer who will be based in our Philadelphia Headquarters Creative studio. The Junior Designer functions as an integral member of the design staff, providing quality branded environments and creative insight for Sparks' customers.We offer a diversity of clients and projects as well as the opportunity to create a niche, fill a void and explore. Our work culture appeals to self-directed, flexible team players, who have great interpersonal skills, learn quickly, work efficiently and are comfortable working under pressure. We're a highly collaborative group working closely with multi-disciplinary team members, account teams, estimators, and detailers.Responsibilities:* Contribute to the entire brand experience for conferences and events from conception through to production.* Create high quality presentations, visualizations and renderings, sharing 3D design files with partners, graphic design and project management departments.* Contribute by creating 3D modeling, concept sketching, environmental branding, creative writing, floor plan/space development, presentation layouts, basic construction drawings, and familiarity with Adobe Suite software.* Ability to create print collateral and environmental graphics for a range of projects from pop-up brand activations to larger conferences, and everything in between.* Work with a variety of clients -- we are brand chameleons based on any of our clients' vibes.* Have an understanding of designing to a timeline and budget.* Operate effectively as part of a larger team under time constraints and be able to meet deadlines.* Work well and effectively communicate with 2D, 3D, and digital / interactive designers, event production, account directors, and outside vendors.Qualifications:* BA or BFA in architecture, environmental design, retail design, interior design, industrial design, exhibit design, experiential design or equivalent experience.* 0-3 years professional experience* Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign);* Understanding or proficiency in 3ds Max, SketchUp and another 3D programs* Ability to manage multiple projects or multiple project work steams at once* Ability to communicate effectively, with both internal and external clientsPreferred Skills:* Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office* Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player* Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsCompany Overview:Sparks is a live + digital brand experience agency.
